ABOUT US

Concordia Deaconess Conference (CDC) is a free association of LCMS rostered deaconesses and affiliates. CDC is a Recognized Service Organization (RSO) of the LCMS, organized as an IRS 501(c)(3) corporation, to provide educational and spiritual resources and support for its Members and Affiliates.

The official objectives of CDC:

Give all glory to God

Extend the kingdom of God

Aid the LCMS in upholding and promoting deaconess service

Provide opportunity for spiritual, personal, and professional growth and fellowship for LCMS deaconesses in the Synod

Deaconesses provide diakonal service in Christ within the parishes, institutions, and missions of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. Such service includes acts of mercy, spiritual care, and teaching the faith.
